Enlightenment

He realized the Truth: All phenomena is suffering. Suffering is due to the mind clinging to the rise and fall of phenomena, and self identification with it. The ending of suffering is through non-reaction to phenomena, and through wisdom, realizing there is no self/owner of all phenomena and its processes. He attained freedom of suffering, ending rebirth. The Ascetic Gotama attained supreme enlightenment and became the Buddha.
